This is the first time I've ever worked with modular building and I really enjoyed it! I fell in love with the concept art by Ferdinand Ladera, so I had to give it a try

I've learnt a lot during the process and I'll definitely follow this workflow for future projects. I started by modeling the modular pieces and the foliage in Blender, keeping them lowpoly. Then I focused on the tiling textures, using Substance Designer for the roof, hay and stone wall; and Substance Painter for the wooden beams, the bricks and the dirt walls (I created different dirt levels but I ended up using just one). I also hand painted the ground and some details for the textures. After that I moved to Unreal Engine 5, made the building, the foliage and got the perspective to follow the concept art. Then I added some VFX using Unreal's Niagara FX to create the wind lines, the smoke and some floating leaves.
This one really motivated me to keep up the work and I want to thank the Discord server The Club for the feedback, really helped me getting that final result.
